Opera premiere on the International Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holocaust on January 27: The Promise is created for the Royal Swedish Opera in collaboration with composer Mats Larsson Gothe and librettist Susanne Marko, who is inspired by her own family's history.

Michael sings the role Samuel, and is a member of the Royal Opera Chorus, which plays a big part in this opera.
